Kaya Instruments “Komodo“ CoaXPress 2.x Frame Grabber | CXP2, 12G, 4CH

The Komodo Quad CoaXPress frame grabber supports the CoaXPress v2.x standard. It can receive video streams from up to 4 CXP 2.x links in single, dual or quad mode. It can also be used for simultaneous capture from multiple cameras. Each link supports standard CXP2 bitrates of up to 12.5 Gbps. These features make the Komodo Quad CoaXPress ideally suited for industrial, defense and aerospace Machine Vision Systems and applications.

The Komodo Quad CoaXPress can receives video streams on the CoaXPress 12G links and transmits them to computer memory through a PCIe interface. This frame grabber also provides an external GPIO for machine control signals, such as triggers, timers, shaft encoders, exposure control and general I/O which can be controlled along with the video stream acquisition. This CXP 2 frame grabber uses standard Micro-BNC connectors as the CoaXPress 2.x interface to the camera. It utilizes PCIe 3.0 x8 links (Komodo II) and x16 links (Komodo III) for communication with Host PC for video uploading and configuration.
