VisionLink RCX – EDT CL extender with up to 255 MB/s data rates
Replace your standard base mode Camera Link cabling with fiberoptic with the VisionLink RCX, extending your range well beyond electrical cabling. With a similar form factor to a standard Camera Link connector, the VisionLink RCX supports data rates up to 255 MB/s and pixel clock rates of 20 – 85 MHz.
Two extenders combine to extend the connection between a camera and a frame grabber, which must be Camera Link compatible, either from EDT or a third party. Connection to the camera and frame grabber is through the two SDR26 connectors (or adaptors), then via fiberoptic to the two extenders by their SFP transceivers.
Camera Link provides triggering and serial, or it can optionally be provided externally via a Lemo connector. The VisionLink RCX is similar to the RCX C-Link, and is compatible in single-connector (base mode) configuration.
