Syscom CameraLink and USB 3.0 Range Extenders over Fiber
Camera Link is a high-speed camera to frame grabber interface designed for high performance vision applications. Standard CameraLink delivers signals up to ten meters or less, meaning inflexible situations in many applications that require longer distance image transmission from device to host. USB 3.0. also has distance and flexibility limitations.
Images can be transmitted with this an optical cable over distances up to 20km without electrical or magnetic noise that plagues performance of High Speed Camera Link (CLHS).
We offer plug and play modules, one to convert the camera device-side CL to fiber then transmit the signal, and the other receive the signal and convert it back to CL for the host-side frame grabber.
